At the SatBeams page I can only see about half of the satellites. How do I see the rest of them? |
| The page is designed to show you (roughly) just what you can see above the horisont line. Your location is defined by your Lat/Long if you have set them or by your timezone. To view all the other Satellites just drag the map with the mouse and the satellites bar will move with the map. In order to get back to your home location just click the house icon in the upper right corner of the map and it will center at your home while staying at the same zoom level. |

How to set the marker on the map? |
| I have received this question many times. The answer does not fit into single paragraph and it deserves a separate page. |

I have registered on the Website but have not received the confirmation email. What should I do? |
| It is possible that your confirmation email got lost. No problem, you can request another one. Just click here and submit your username to resend the confirmation email. It is also possible that your mail client has marked the bmessageas spam. Please check your spam folder just to be sure.
If you still do not get it within 24 hours please contact admin to get your account fixed. |

When viewing a reception report for specific user could the listing be sorted from small to high MHz? |
| Yes. The frequencies/channels grids are quite flexible. It is possible to sort by any column as well as hide the columns that you don't want to see and resize them. Just hover the mouse over the column as shown on the picture below. The setting is saved then to user profile so that it is not needed to adjust the columns again.

The map does not load when I select the Satellite and Beam. What's wrong? |
| This website is build with Javascript and Google Maps. Some of the popup and AdBlockers prevent access to google sites and therefore some google-dependant scripts may not work properly. "Whitelisting" this website in your browser's AdBlocking software will likely solve the issue. |

Can I comment on the markers of other users? I hate "fake" reports and want to ask admin to remove wrong data. |
| At the moment it is not possible to comment on the markers. Assuming that the volume of new markers is relatively low the web site admin will review them and do the best to remove the wrong reports. Should you find the marker that you consider is fake please send the message to the web site admin stating the coordinates, username and justification why the reception at that location cannot be possible with equipment indicated. |

|
Can I edit my marker after I have created it? Can I add extra data to existing marker? Can I remove my data or the entire marker? |
| Every user can modify his markers data and delete his data at any time. |

Is it possible to set several markers at different locations? For example I live in one place but I would like to set the marker and report the reception details on behalf of somebody else (my relative, friend etc.). |
Sure! Absolutely!!! Every user can set up to 10 markers (this limit is rather artificial and can be lifted). Should you need more markers please send the request to site admin with your justification. There are two conditions that you should meet when placing the marker for somebody else: - the other person (i.e. your friend or relative) is aware that his dish location will be posted on this website (and potentially will be seen by all the site users) and is OK to share his data. - the data reported is real and is specific down to the required level of the details (i.e. equipment and signal levels) If you beleive that your report can be useful for the Sat-TVcommunity do not hesitate to set the marker and share your data. Someone will appreciate it in the future while you will benefit from the reports of other users! |

When I add marker data, I cannot see my dish/receiver/lnb on the list. how do I add it? |
| If your antenna/receiver/lnb is not listed then you will be prompted to add your new equipment automatically. Please add as much data as possibe! Your data will be reviewed by moderator and will be approved shortly. Should moderator have questions concerning your equipment he will contact you directly for further questions. |

I cannot see beam X of (or) Satellite Y on the list. Why? |
| I have looked thoroughly through the web to find the best sources of the maps that were publicly available. If you send me the link to the map that is not available on the site I will be more than happy to add it. Should you find any inconsistencies or find a better map source for specific beam do not hesitate to contact me directly to get it updated. |
