1. This is a Sat-TV related website that allows registered users to contribute with their data. Users should only post Sat-TV related information (i.e. do not post cable TV related stuff or pictures of your pets here!)
2. It is currently an English language website, so please post only in English and do not use language that is likely to cause confusion or even offence to other members.
3. Posting of keys, hex files, or files with embedded keys, emulators, hacked receiver images and card-sharing techniques is not allowed here.
4. When posting reception reports please consider that the site admin and moderators will review all the "new" data like new frequencies, equipment etc. before it becomes visible to the other users. Please note certain delay before your data becomes available to others. You are responsible to post correct data so that we build a community of trust here and everyone can really benefit from it.
5. Please do not use the posts for advertising, whether by link to commercial organisations, business ventures or other websites. If you want to advertise on this website please mail website admin to discuss options.
6. Should your receive unsolicited mails through this website offering to sell you goods or services (spam), please contact admin with the details so that we could track and ban "the culprit".
7. Should you find any bugs or incorrect information on this website please contact admin with corrections. Nobody is perfect and there is always room for improvement.
8. Please do not post in CAPS/UPPER CASE, it is considered rude and we should respect the audience.

User-submitted data like reception reports is linked to individuals geographical coordinates may not be accurate or correct at all. While website admins will do all the best to ensure that only correct sat-equipmet details and reception data appears on the maps such a data is provided by volunteers "as is" without any obligations and responsibility from the site owner. Website owner expressly disclaims any liability for any damages, claims or losses sustained by any use of the data form this website, any inaccuracy or inconsistency of the data on the website or inability to use any of the information from this website.

Privacy Statement

www.satbeams.com respects privacy! Only user login and email address are mandatory fields collected during the registration process. Any other personal information provided by user (i.e. postal address or lat/long coordinates) is not mandatory. It is stored in user profile and is only used to grant access to some advanced functionality that is available on the site or will become available in the future. User markers placed on the map are only linked to user login. No personally identifiable information is accessible through the marker details although registered users can send emails to marker owner through "captcha protected" email-form.
Non-personal identifiable information such as browser type, operating system, and web pages visited is collected on the website just to analyse the usage statistics. Cookies and JavaScript should be anabled in users browser to use all of the websites functionality.
No personal information is shared with any other parties unless we have asked for and obtained users explicit consent for it.
