Soyuz-Fregat/SES-15 - launch success

Arianespace Flight VS17, May 18, 2017



Arianespace Soyuz-FG launch vehicle has successfully delivered an all-electric telecommunications SES-15 satellite into geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) during a mission lasting 5 hours 18 minutes. It was the 40th satellite launched by Arianespace for SES and the first SES satellite launched on a Soyuz rocket.

Spacex Falcon-9 launch vehicle has successfully delivered SES-10 communication satellite to its target orbit. It was the first geostationary satellite launched on the flight-proven first stage booster that has landed again on the ocean platform after this mission.
